Jennifer Chartrand is a Metis artist from Duck Bay, Manitoba, specializing in traditional Indigenous beading and leather jewelry. After the passing of her mother in 2019, Jennifer turned to beading as a way to honor her heritage and feel closer to her. Self-taught and deeply passionate, her jewelry reflects a fusion of traditional techniques and contemporary designs, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and a profound sense of personal connection.

Coming from a family of musicians, Jennifer's artistry harmoniously blends her cultural roots with her own creative expressions. Alongside jewelry making, she enjoys sewing ribbon skirts and finds joy in teaching others the art of beading and sewing.
